Check the glycemic index of different foods
The glycemic index of a carbohydrate is the value which reassembles how strong the blood sugar will rise after eating the food. The lower the value the better the food is for your health. The harmful carbohydrates are all carbohydrates which exceed the GI of 50. The healthy carbohydrates all have a glycemic index below 50.
